High Quality Grow Lights

Quality Grow Lights to Meet Your Plants Needs
Fluorescent Light Systems and Bulbs are great for growing low light plants and for propagating seedlings and cuttings.

Metal Halide Light Systems and Ballasts provide light that is blue-orientated in the color spectrum. This type of light promotes plant growth. It is the best type of light to be used as a primary light source (if little or no natural sunlight is available).

High Pressure Sodium Light Systems and Ballasts provide light that is red/orange-orientated in the color spectrum. This type of light promotes plant fruiting and flowering as it mimicks the natural fall/winter spectral shifts that occur with the changes in the season. HPS lights will work as a primary light source, but are more prominently used during the fruiting/flowering cycle of your gardens.

Switchable Ballasts allow you to use either a Metal Halide or a High Pressure Sodium bulb in the same ballast. Use a Metal Halide bulb when the plants are actively growing, and then flip the switch and put in a High Pressure Sodium bulb for the fruiting/flowering stage.

Reflectors reflect the light coming off of the bulb down towards the plants. Quality reflectors ensure you are getting the most usable light out of your system.

HID Metal Halide and High Pressure Sodium Bulbs create light by passing electricity through a sealed glass or ceramic tube. Different gasses inside the tube ignite to produce the different color spectrums used by plants.
